Summer So Far, 2012 Crazy year. We had such an early spring, no moisture and still none. The snow pack is virtually gone. Wildfires are now all over the place. Some days the sun is hazy from the smoke. The lawn is dry, and I feel a little guilty enjoying the beauty of our flowers and garden. Because of the extreme heat, we have early produce and our old apricot tree's fruit is ripening fast. We hope and pray for rain to cool things and help the fire fighters. And for the people who have lost their homes. Summer, so far. David
